“Oh, if you need a friend,

I’m sailing right behind.

Like a bridge over troubled water,

I will ease your mind.

Like a bridge over troubled water,

I will ease your mind.” – Paul Simon

Up at 6:30. Had coffee and donuts. Barry picked me up at 7:00 and got me on the trail at 7:30. Had a 1-mile approach hike to the AT. I will hike back to the camp in Monson.

Overcast, humid, going up to low 60s.

Crossed Vaughn Stream waterfalls at 8:15.
