Day 47 – Boots Off Hostel to Johnson City, TN

“We met at a truck stop in

Johnson City, Tennessee.

I was gassing up my Firebird

when I heard her calling me.

Up at 8:30. I reached out to the  condo owner in Johnson City, and they are good with early check-in! I picked up my supply box at the office, and they can shuttle me to Johnson City at 1:30. I can just hang out after checkout until it is time for the shuttle to leave. This is going to work out perfectly! I texted Dana the new plan.

Tweaked recent blogs and uploaded all my videos to YouTube. I’ll do the actual blog postings over the next few days off in Johnson City.

Just Jim shuttled me from Boots Off (he works there) to JC, arriving at 1:50. Nice apartment and great area! I unpacked, cleaned gear, did laundry, showered (YEY), and did some light grocery shopping. Dana arrived about 4:30. It should be a nice few days off trail with Dana.
